Father Elias Rafaj serves as our priest. He is also pastor of St. John Chrysostom Byzantine Catholic Church in Houston, TX. Fr. Elias has been a priest since 1999 and is a noted iconographer and liturgist.

Father Deacon Jeffery Mierzejewski

Father Deacon Jeffery Mierzejewski provides St. Anastasia with regular communion services (Typika).   

Additionally, he oversees the Metropolitan Cantor Institute which provides valuable resources and liturgical music for cantors within the Archeparchy of Pittsburgh. Fr. Deacon Jeff also serves the Austin Byzantine Catholic Community.

Father Deacon Andrew Veres is a Deacon at St. John Chrysostom Byzantine Catholic Church in Houston, TX.  He serves occasional Typika services at St. Anastasia.

Metropolitan William C. Skurla, D.D.

His Eminence Archbishop William C. Skurla, D.D. is the fifth Metropolitan of the Byzantine Catholic (Ruthenian) Metropolitan Church, the only Eastern Catholic Metropolitan Church sui iuris (self-governing) in the United States. As Archbishop, he is also the eighth head of the Archeparchy of Pittsburgh, where the Byzantine Catholic Metropolitan Church is based.  Leader of the Metropolitan Church in the USA, Metropolitan William heads the Council of Hierarchs, comprised of the bishops of the Byzantine Catholic Eparchies of Passaic, Parma, and Phoenix.
